Founded in 2001, The Shane Clifford Goalie School is Pittsburgh’s premier destination for goaltender development. Shane has trained goalies at every level, from youth hockey to the NHL, offering expert instruction through private lessons, summer camps, tune-up camps, and elite training programs.
A Proven Track Record in Coaching & Development
Based in Pittsburgh, PA, Shane Clifford leverages his extensive playing and coaching experience to help aspiring goalies advance to the Junior, Collegiate, and Professional ranks. His deep understanding of the game allows him to not only coach but also connect goalies to higher levels of play.

Shane Clifford’s Goalie Camps & Private Training
Each year, Shane’s summer goalie camps sell out, attracting top talent from around the country. During the season, “The Crease” training program provides weekly private lessons and coaching opportunities to goalies looking to refine their skills.
From the amateur to the pro level, Shane teaches goalies the fundamentals and how to succeed in all situations. To be successful, you need a system, and Shane will teach you that system in a way any goalie will understand and use to achieve incredible results.
With Shane Clifford’s help I won a NCAA Division 1 national championship with Minnesota Duluth. I also signed a contract with the new york islanders of the nhl.
With Shane Clifford’s help I was the first hockey goalie taken in the NHL draft. Thanks to Shane I am fortunate enough to be the starting goalie for the NHL Flyers.
